The Web Site may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a website server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the website server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you register with the EKS Web Site or services, a cookie helps EKS recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personally identifiable information, such as your billing addresses, shipping addresses, and other similar information. When you return to the same EKS Web Site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the EKS features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the EKS services or Web sites you visit.
This website makes use of Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. By standard procedure, the information regarding your use of the website which is generated by the cookie is transmitted to a Google server located in the U.S. and stored there. Upon the website provider’s request, Google will then use this information in order to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to render further services connected to the use of the website and the internet for the website provider. As a standard, the complete IP addresses of the website visitors are used by Google Analytics for compilation of general geographic reports. On this website, however, Google Analytics was extended with the Code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to guarantee an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Now, within the Member States of the European Union or other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, Google shortens your IP address by deleting the final octet of your IP address before the IP address is used and stored. The IP address transmitted in the context of Google Analytics from your browser is not combined with other data collected by Google. You can prevent the storing of cookies by using a specific setting in your browser software. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie as well as the disclosure of the data relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to and their processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser-add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics available under the following link:
