Customer Service and Tech Support Representative

1099 Seasonal Position (35 hrs./week for 3-6 weeks)

Immediate hire – Future full-time position possible

 

Job Description

Klett USA is looking for a Customer Service and Tech Support Representative to join our team. In this position, you will work with our customers, sales team, national sales director, and international partners to provide teachers and students first level support and service for the start of the academic year/semester. 

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries received via telephone, voicemail, email, and tech support forms.

Learn about the products and services to effectively resolve customer issues as efficiently as possible

Analyze issues and determine next steps

Resolve common user issues, primarily for our web-based online content provided via BlinkLearning

Document issues, resolutions, and follow ups

Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as appropriate

 

Qualifications:

Customer Service experience: 1 year (preferred)

Technical Support experience: 1 year (preferred)

Fluency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills (required); additional proficiency in German (preferred)

Excellent time management skills

“Roll up your sleeves” attitude

Organizational skills

Analytical and problem solving-skills

Pay: $15/hr.

COVID-19 Considerations:

Our small staff works partially from home and partially in office. In office safety procedures include safe distances between work spaces, daily cleaning of common surfaces, daily fresh air circulation, single office HVAC (e.g. not shared with other office spaces in the building), hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, etc. Masks are required in all office common spaces and inside the Klett USA office when distancing is not possible.
