Klett USA, Inc. is now Klett World Languages, Inc.

Klett expands its U.S. portfolio to include German, Spanish, French, and Italian textbooks and educational materials.

Today, Klett USA announces the launch of Klett World Languages (KWL), a new company that unites three European language education publishing powerhouses under one roof.

Following the success of Chicago-based German publisher, Klett USA, KWL now offers comprehensive language education materials for all levels and age groups in German, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Providing teachers and students with unmatched value, KWL’s world-class materials serve as a foreign language curriculum centerpiece. Teachers are supported with state of the art methodology that is conveyed through sound pedagogy and engaging, up-to-date content. Students learn to interact with their peers and interpret the world through the guidance of inclusive, real-life scenarios and media, designed to spark their curiosity and facilitate their language acquisition.

A key strength of KWL lies in the level of personalized attention provided by the veteran teachers and college instructors who make up the sales and support teams. Detail-oriented and empathetic, the KWL team works to exceed customer expectations in every interaction.

National Director and former National Board Certified language teacher, Catherine Green, commented: “Klett World Languages is a natural continuation in the footprints of our German predecessor, Klett USA. Our entry into a wider world languages market enables U.S. Spanish, French, and Italian programs to also profit from Klett’s high-quality products and unparalleled customer service.”

“As we move forward in a rapidly-changing world, we do not take lightly the lessons learned on the road that brought us here. Despite the advent of sophisticated language translation tools and technologies, there is no replacement for the human connections that are achieved through interpersonal discourse. Learning a foreign language opens doors to all kinds of opportunities, not the least of which is a better understanding of one’s own identity in juxtaposition to others. Language is at the heart of human experience. Through language learning we create meaning, make connections, and open our hearts and minds to new ways of thinking and being. That will never become obsolete,” Green added.
